  • To gain opinions from influencers on a new offering and its viability in the marketplace.
  • To gain insight from customers around decision making and priorities regarding the design and maintenance of their residential properties.
  • To identify the gaps in customers’ current and future needs.
  • To determine whether the new residential offering is something they would buy and, if not, what changes would convince them to do so.

How we met the objectives

  • Identification of senior decision makers at 25 Local Authorities.
  • Conducted in depth interviews with key decision makers. Interviews had either a strategic or design focus surrounding themes such as Passivhaus and net zero operational carbon.

Benefits for the client

  • Utilised the key findings from the research to develop marketing and operational strategy for launching new product offering.
