John's stated aim in life is to act his shoe size but retain the expertise he has acquired. Incidentally his shoe size is 8½ but his experience covers 4 times that. John is easily bored which is why he has worked as a consulting engineer, a contractor, a building materials producer and a management consultant. 

His major disappointment in life was being captain of athletics at school the year that sports day was rained off which meant that he never got to keep the cup for winning the hurdles 3 years in a row.

His greatest achievement is working for a company for over 10 years, even if it did turn out to be his own. His record before this was 3 years, which he managed several times.

The car John would most like to drive is a Honda NSX so lets hope he sometimes acts older than his shoe size.
